I have the honor and privilege of knowing Maria Sulewski through our work association. I have found that Maria has a sincere love for God and genuine respect for others. She has recently come under scrutiny for not teaching protected sex education to younger elementary children. Her position lines up with her constitutional religious rights, and for this she has been demoted and maligned.
Where are the parents? Why aren't they speaking out on this issue? Does the state have the right to dictate to us on moral principles and override our professional judgments? I contend that Mrs. Sulewski is doing her job well in overseeing student's timely indoctrination to sexual matters.
My prayers are that more concerned citizens step out and back up her stand.
