I couldn't believe what I was reading last Sunday by Matt Westerhold, it was a vicious, deliberate and childish attack on Rick Myosky. To say that Mr. Myosky "shot up his neighborhood and that it would all go away and nobody would be the wiser" is a lie and an irresponsible comment by Mr. Westerhold. You make it sound like Mr. Myosky grabbed a gun and started shooting everything in his neighborhood and then tried to hide it, According to the Register, Mr. Myosky was cooperative in every way with the police and that he was "appreciative of the police department's professionalism," so how can you say something like that?
Among the many other childish and sarcastic things Mr. Westerhold wrote was, "If the chief wanted to know whether there was any truth to the "rumors" all he had to do was return any one of the dozen phone calls from the Register reporters" Really? Now why would he want to do that? You obviously have the story already. It is what it is. An accident occurred. It could and does happen to gun owners. Thankfully no one got hurt.
My, oh my, Matt, in the future you should really keep it professional and not make it personal.
