Erie County Commissioners, eager for development along U.S. 250 on the southern end of the county, are trying to extend sewer lines farther south.

Seeking to extend sewer lines from the Kalahari down U.S. 250 to the Ohio Turnpike, commissioners signed a letter Thursday to the director of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, Chris Korleski.
