PORT CLINTON

Visiting Judge Richard Markus denied Wednesday an accused killer's motion for dismissal.

The defense filed two motions for dismissal on pre-indictment and post-indictment delays.

Scott Speer, 34, of Fairlawn, was indicted on murder charges for allegedly pushing a friend off a boat in August 2002.
