BELLEVUE

Due to what many consider an unclear leash law, Bellevue City Council members discussed changing the law to require animals to be leashed whether on a walk or in the yard. Those who have electric fences or fences surrounding their yards may still allow Rover to roam within its boundaries.

Other issues on Bellevue's plate include the revitalization of the downtown area. Council members approved the next steps of the planning process, authorizing space utilization studies.
