* Serving Our Seniors will host a free workshop, "Can I Afford Long Term Care Insurance?" from 2-4 p.m. today at the Erie County Office Building (3rd Floor), 247 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The workshop will be taught by Kendra Thompson, Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information, Trainer, with the Ohio Department of Insurance. * Fisher-Titus Medical Center's Seniors Stay Strong and Seniors Keep Moving programs are offered as mix-n-match sessions and are on a drop-in basis. 12 sessions for $27.50, PrimeCare Advantage discount for $25. To sign up, join a free trial class. Seniors Keep Moving is 9 a.m. at the Carriage House of the Ernsthausen Center. * To celebrate Older Americans Month, the Area Office on Aging and The Toledo Blade will sponsor the 30th annual Senior Citizens Day, "Spring Fling 2007," beginning at 10 a.m. at the Sports and Exhibition Center at Tam-O-Shanter in Sylvania, Ohio. There will be more than 110 exhibitors ready to display their products, programs and services and willing to answer questions. ANNOUNCEMENT

* The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program will be offered again this year. To be eligible, participants must be Ohio citizens, age 60 or older with an annual income of $18,889 or less (single) or $25,327 for couples. Coupons will be distributed by mail. Eligible applicant will be provided $45 worth of produce coupons to be used at Sandusky's Farmers Market. If you have not received an application and would like to apply, you may pick one up at the Erie County Senior Center, 620 E. Water St., Sandusky, until May 14.
