BELLEVUE

Levy results were disappointing for Bellevue City Schools with 70 percent of the 2,370 voters in the four-county area voting against the .75 percent income tax proposal.

"We're going to go back with the finance committee and reassess our situation," Bellevue Superintendent Stephen Schumm said Tuesday evening.

The unofficial results for the four counties are 1,656 votes for and 714 votes against the levy.
