Perkins fire Chief Richard Myosky is accusing police Lt. Al Matthews of verbally attacking him and insubordination.
The two got into an argument March 22 about rumors of an hour-and-a-half meeting involving Matthews, police Chief Tim McClung and the Register. The fire chief believes they talked to the paper about the accidental firing of his Romanian sniper rifle, which led to a disorderly conduct charge in April.
The officer complaint filed by Myosky is still being investigated by township trustees, who will meet this morning to discuss it. An audio recording of the March 22 argument was released by the Perkins Police Department on Monday.
