Cedar Fair's revenues increased for the first quarter by 7 percent or $25.5 million.

But the company's acquisition of Paramount Parks last year has left Cedar Fair with a $50.9 million operating loss for the first quarter in 2007 -- almost double the amount from last year's first quarter, which was $27.7 million.

Cash operating costs with the new parks for the same period were $76.5 million compared to $48.2 million last year. With the acquisition, the company generated $30 million in revenues during the 2007 first quarter and a net loss of $55.1 million.
