ANNOUNCEMENT

* The Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program will be offered again this year. To be eligible, participants must be Ohio citizens, age 60 or older with an annual income of $18,889 or less (single) or $25,327 for couples. Coupons will be distributed by mail. Eligible applicant will be provided $45 worth of produce coupons to be used at Sandusky's Farmers Market. If you have not received an application and would like to apply, you may pick one up at the Erie County Senior Center, 620 E. Water St., Sandusky, until May 14.

* Serving Our Seniors will host a free workshop concerning Long Term Care Insurance. The workshop, "Can I Afford Long Term Care Insurance?," will be from 2-4 p.m. May 10 at the Erie County Office Building (3rd Floor, 247 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The workshop will be taught by Kendra Thompson, Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information, Trainer, with the Ohio Department of Insurance. The purpose of the ODI is to protect the interests of the public through the consistent and fair application of Ohio's insurance laws and regulations. The ODI does not sell insurance products.
