Two car accident in Gibsonburg

GIBSONBURG

A Fremont and Gibsonburg man were involved in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.

At about 2:53 pm. Daniel Hall, Jr.,18, Fremont was headed northbound on Township Road 42 when he failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with Brian Richardson, 35, Gibsonburg, who was eastbound on County Road 65.

Both vehicles went off the right side of the road and hit a fence. Passengers in Hall's vehicle included Curtis Bushdecker, 16, of Gibsonburg, Jesus Sotobaez, 20, Fremont, Savannah Siebert, 15, Fremont, and Angel Skates 16 from Bradner.

Bushdecker and Siebert were wearing safety belts and were transported to Fremont Memorial. It is unknown if the other passengers were belted. Hall and Sotobaez were taken by medical helicopter to the University of Toledo Medical College and Skates to Vincent Mercy Medical Center.

Brian Richardson, the second driver had minor injuries and although not at fault, was cited for driving under the influence. Injuries from the crash have not been disclosed.
