PERKINS TWP.

Perkins Township Parks Board and Board of Trustees are taking a full swing at Strickfaden Park on Bell Avenue.

Jeff Printy, park board president, asked trustees to allow the parks board to commission a $6,900 wetland study of the 28 acres off Bell Avenue near a frequently flooded area of Pipe Creek behind Lakeland Subdivision.

Printy also asked the board to commission $1,000 for a preliminary drawing of the park's layout by a local architecture firm.
