PERKINS TWP.

Officials in two counties are puzzled by public records requests submitted by a previously unknown citizen group.

The Erie County Commissioners received a letter asking for the performance bonds and oaths of office for the commissioners, the sheriff, the prosecuting attorney, the city law director, the Common Pleas judges, juvenile judge and municipal court judge.

The letter, handwritten and scribbled on two pages from a yellow legal pad, was sent by "Concerned Citizens' for Responsible Government, Inc." The group listed a Greenwich address and appeared to be signed by Christopher Perry, Jerry Bohland and Tammy Bohland.
