SANDUSKY

An Erie County Sheriff's deputy watched Tuesday night as an Norfolk Southern Railroad train stopped traffic on Tiffin Avenue near Pennsylvania Avenue for at least 43 minutes.

Norfolk Southern Railroad was charged with obstruction of a roadway.

A deputy arrived on the scene after a complainant caught in traffic called local authorities.

The officer arrived at 11 p.m. The road was not cleared until 11:43 p.m. according to reports.
