In response to Tim Didion's letter about the Perkins Township Highway Department: I've been waiting to see an apology to these workers.
I've lived in Perkins Township for 53 years and don't remember ever having a complaint against them.
I've called them because my husband's flag was missing from his grave after Memorial Day (which is minor), but I also asked them if they could put his stone back on the base. It's a large stone. Everything is always done in record time. They do a super job in the cemetery, it always looks it. Leaf pick-up and snow removal is great. We are never forgotten, even though our road has only six houses.
Keep up the good work Daryl and all the workers of Perkins Township. Did I miss the apology? They surely deserve one.
