The smoking law is a law that was voted on by the people of Ohio. The government just has to figure out how

to enforce and support it. It was the people of OHIO that took the liberty to exercise their right as an American

and freedom to vote for change.

It is an attitude change for all. Now, for a fact I know of one bar that is enforcing by asking the smokers to go outside and smoke on the patio. D.J.’s Sports Bar on Cleveland Road does just that. Not to be mean, just to follow the law. The workers and the customers just do that out of respect for the owner. When it is cold they throw their coat on and join a fellow smoker on the patio. They seem to be OK now with the policy. It does not matter if league teams are playing there, they are now asked to smoke on the patio.

I think this is a great example of an attitude change and respect for the business. Now if others could follow this great example, perhaps other sad issues that hang over our city could be settled with understanding and a great sense of respect for all. Let’s try this season and the rest of our life to respect what we as Americans have the freedom to vote and the freedom to change the attitude to have a happy full life of friends and family.

Merry Christmas to All.
