Bellevue took both games of a doubleheader from the Blue Streaks on Saturday at Dorn Park in Sandusky.
The games started three hours late as Sandusky worked to repair the field from heavy rains.
Bellevue's Erika Jordan held the Sandusky offense to one hit -- a single by Courtney Chaney -- in seven scoreless innings of a 2-0 win.
"We made her look good, or she made us look bad. One of the two," Sandusky coach Tom Garard said.
Ashley Gilbert (9-6) allowed six hits and two runs, one earned, in seven innings of work.
Bellevue's Sydney Vickery tripled in the top of the first inning and Erika Jordan drove her in on a single. In the seventh inning, Jessica Zeitz scored Bellevue's second run on an infield error.
In Game 2, Bellevue tagged Sandusky for five runs in the top of the second and held on for a 7-6 win behind Laura Dorner. Sandusky worked out Kelsey Peters (0-2) as its back-up pitcher.
Sandusky answered the Lady Reds' five-run strike in the second inning with three of their own in the bottom of the second, but Bellevue edged away with additional runs in the top of the fourth and fifth innings.
"We couldn't get the hit when we needed it," Garard said of the Streaks' performance in Game 2. "We had the runners in scoring position.
"And the five runs in the second inning didn't help us."
Sandusky travels to rival Fremont Ross on Tuesday. In the first meeting on April 12 with the Little Giants, the Streaks recorded 13 hits but went scoreless in a 1-0 nine-inning loss.
