Here are our top choices for three can't miss events for a variety of sports fans.

Perkins vs. Sandusky

The Pirates and Blue Streaks have three high school events scheduled on Friday and Saturday.

The football teams have their meeting at 7 p.m. Friday at Strobel Field, and the soccer teams finish out the weekend with their girls-boys doubleheader at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

COST: Presale tickets for the football games are on sale in both athletic offices for $6 (adults) and

$4 (students and senior citizens). All tickets at the gate are $6; Admission to the soccer games is $6 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens.

Volleyball: Norwalk vs. Sandusky

Sandusky hosts its first match in the Northern Ohio League — against the defending champions no less — in the high school gymansium.

The varisty match, which is after the JV contest, will likely start at about 6 p.m. today.

COST: Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students and senior citizens.

Golf: Bellevue Home Savings Invite

A full field — Bucyrus, Clyde, Eastwood, Genoa, Margaretta, Norwalk, Norwalk St. Paul, Rossford, South Central, Tiffin Columbian, Woodmore and host Bellevue — tees off at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sleepy Hollow Golf Course in Clyde.
