The North Central Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association held its all-star games Sunday for the top boys and girls seniors from the region.
The girls game ended in a 4-4 tie as Huron's Alex Lemar scored two goals for the Red All-Stars at Perkins High School.
Oak Harbor 's Tyler Eoff scored four goals in the boys game.
Sandusky's Hannah McCarley assisted on one of Lemar's goals.
The girls Offensive Player of the Game, Sarah Storkel, Mansfield Christian, scored two goals for the Yellow All-Stars.
Tori Mowery, of Loudonville, who played for the Red All-Stars, was the Defensive Player of the Game.
"Mixing all these kids together from all theses schools, kids from Mansfield and Ashland, it's just a lot of fun to watch them mesh together," Mark Fogg said.
Fogg is the girls soccer coach at Sandusky and was the head coach of the Red All-Star team, while Kurri Lewis, who coaches at Margaretta, coached the Yellow All-Stars.
"Amanda Lizzi coached with me, and we admired the way -- this is what's neat about all-star games -- the girls meshed together socially," Fogg said, "and I think they got better in the second half because of that."
The Blue All-Stars scored an 8-1 win against the Black All-Star squad in the boys game.
