Nico Samaniego scored three goals and John Dusza had three assists Tuesday as Huron defeated Port Clinton, 4-3, in another close Sandusky Bay Conference game.

The teams tied, 5-5, in the first meeting.

Fifteen minutes into the game Tremayne Lemar put Huron ahead 1-0 on Dusza's assist.

Five minutes later, Dusza got his second assist on a throughball to Samaniego.

The Redskins fought back and scored to make it 2-1 scoreline at halftime.

Two minutes into the second half Samaniego got onto the board again off of another Dusza assist.

Port Clinton fought back and again with two goals to knot the score, 3-3.

Samaniego finished off his hat-trick with 15 minutes left in the game, hitting a volley off of a cross from Lemar.

Taylor Prosser had one save for the Tigers in goal.

"I am very happy with my squad today. They played hard the entire game and never got frustrated," Huron coach Matt Asher said. "We kept our composure and we got the win in a tough game against a very good Port Clinton team. It was a great close game to get us ready for the upcoming sectional tournament."
