Austin Cech scored the game-winning goal, converting a second-half penalty kick Monday to lift Edison to its second win of the season.
Chech scored with 21 minutes left in the game of a 1-0 win against Margaretta.
The Polar Bears were whistled for a handball in the penalty box, and Cech went to the left side of the goal with her shot.
Goalkeeper Rachel Kiley earned her second shutout of the season for the Chargers (2-7-4, 2-3-2 Sandusky Bay Conference), who play at Perkins Thursday.
"I'm proud of my defense for keeping us in it," assistant coach Sarah Baker said of defenders Liz Hill, Nora Cuthbertson, Emma Stevens and Taylor Jamison. "We still have stuff to work on, but I'm proud of them for keeping us in the game with their hard work."
Cech took nine shots in the game, while Michelle Johnston and Olivia Schmitke had six each.
Perkins 2, Clyde 1
At Clyde, Shelby Kaser converted a penalty kick as Perkins rallied from a 1-0 deficit to beat the Fliers.
Clyde scored first 10 minutes into the game.
A minute later, Kaser scored the equalizer with her unassisted goal to put Perkins level, 1-1.
Her PK came with 58 seconds left in the game.
Sadie Ahlers made nine saves for the Pirates (3-6-3, 3-2-2), who took 23 shots in the match.
