UPDATED: Danbury Township boil alert lifted

The Precautionary Boil Water Advisory issued yesterday, August 20, 2014, for the water main break on Bayshore Road east of Hartshorn has been lifted.  It is no longer necessary to boil water.



A waterline break has forced Ottawa County's Sanitary Engineering Department  to issue a boil alert for some residents of Danbury Township.


The boil alert will last for one to two days. 


The precautionary boil alert due to loss of water pressure from a waterline break is in effect for water customers on the following streets in Danbury Township: East Bayshore Road, 9150 to 10240; South Bailiwick, South Carlbert, South Wyandotte, South Tecumseh, South Seneca, Huron, Bayview, South Arlington, South Emerald Shores, South Lattimore, South Napama, South Willow Cover, South Harborview, Rendezvous, South Hartshorn, Ebert and South Bayshore.


Customers are being told to boil their water for three minutes before drinking or cooking with it. When the boil is order is lifted, the news will be announced.
