50 years ago, 1964: Nearly a third of a million persons attended evangelist Billy Graham's 10-day central Ohio crusade which ended after a throng of 38,000 jammed into the Columbus minor league baseball stadium.
25 years ago, 1989: Congressman Dan Rostenkowski, one the the most powerful politicians in the U.S., was booed and chased down a Chicago street by a group of senior citizens after he refused to talk with them about federal health insurance.
10 years ago, 2004: WJW chief meteorologist and animal advocate Dick Goddard, made a surprise appearance at the "Back to the Wild" open house and fund raiser. His donation of autographed Dick Goddard bobbleheads raised $600 in the live auction.
