Stop signs added at dangerous Norwalk intersection

Register • Aug 27, 2014 at 3:27 PM

Norwalk officials added stop signs at each side of a four-way intersection at Jefferson and Newton streets.

"This is to address the southeast 'blind' corner and spacing/offset of the existing stop sign due to the railroad tracks," according to a release from Josh Snyder, Norwalk's public works director. "The city anticipates this will improve safety of drivers in both directions at this intersection."
