A motorcyclist crashed into a car at the intersection of Camp and Buchanan streets at about 5:52 p.m. Friday, ejecting a motorcycle passenger, who suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The collision occurred after the car's driver, heading east on Buchanan Street, failed to yield the right away, according to a Sandusky police report.

The motorcyclist, who was heading south on Camp Street, fell off the motorcycle after the impact and also sustained non-life threatening injuries.

His passenger was ejected over the car and onto the roadway.

The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet, but his passenger was wearing one.

An ambulance took the pair to Firelands Regional Medical Center, where they were treated and released.

The car's driver, Chelissa A. Conway, 41, 1900 block Putnam St., was charged with failure to yield right of way.
