A Sandusky man landed felonious assault charges Friday after punching his ex-girlfriend several times and hurtling bricks at her, inflicting serious injuries.
Tyran Sullivan, 19, of the 2400 block of Cleveland Road, allegedly assaulted the woman in the 1000 block of Pearl St. and ran off before police arrived at about 11:20 p.m., according to a Sandusky police report.
Police found the victim on the ground with scraped legs, bleeding from the nose and mouth, according to the report.
She told police Sullivan became angry because she broke off their relationship, so he punched her. He then grabbed several nearby bricks and chucked them at her, and some hit her legs.
Paramedics transported the woman to Firelands Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Police prepared a felonious assault charge but couldn't locate Sullivan after taking photographs of the scene.
