Two in stabbing released from hospital

Sandusky Register Staff • Apr 23, 2014 at 11:30 AM

Officers said they have not released the names of the man and woman involved because they’re trying to determine who will be charged. The man apparently suffered multiple stab wounds at about 2:30 a.m. Friday at a home at the corner of North Ohio Avenue and Howland Street. The woman sustained unspecified injuries.

Both were taken by ambulance to a local hospital and then flown by medical helicopter to a Toledo hospital. They’ve since been released.

Fremont police Chief Tim Wiersma said detectives are still dealing with conflicting stories from the man and the woman, but new information should be available Tuesday.
