A Sandusky woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly kicking a police officer while paramedics tried to tend to her.
Jesica Bonilla, 26, 1200 block Seavers Way, was charged with assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Officers were called to Bonilla’s home around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday after Bonilla threatened to hurt herself, according to a Sandusky police report.
Bonilla’s husband later said she’d been drinking for four days straight and was upset he played pool and video games with a friend, the report said.
While paramedics were there, Bonilla tried to lock herself in her bedroom and began arguing with officers.
When she emerged, Bonilla allegedly shoulder-checked an officer. Police started to handcuff Bonilla, but she swung at them and became dead weight, the report said.
Inside the emergency room, Bonilla refused to give her information to hospital staff, saying she didn’t need help, and pulled away from officers as they escorted her to her room, the report said.
As Bonilla was escorted back outside, she kicked Officer Ken Gautschi in the knee, the report said.
