The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Watercraft Division handled the incident but did not return multiple phone calls Sunday to the agency’s local and Columbus offices. Carroll Township first responders assisted at the scene.
Carroll Township police Chief Jody Hatfield said two boats in the water were able to get the people out of the water and to safety on land at Oak Harbor.

The boats also towed the capsized boat into Turtle Creek Marina and to Wild Wings Marina, he said At least one person was believed to be suffering from symptoms of hypothermia, Hatfield said.
Hatfield did not have anyone’s names and did not know if anyone was transported for medical care
