The campaign strategy contrasts the effortful approach of Citizens for Perkins Schools during the August levy, which involved hundreds of district parents and included several public events.
Wednesday night, about 30 people gathered at Perkins High School to discuss their modest plans. They’ve created three committees to disseminate information: one will design fliers, one will distribute yard signs and one will organize a meeting for district parents.
The meeting, which will address several issues, is tentatively scheduled for 6:30 p.m. April 15 at Meadowlawn Intermediate School, 1313 E. Strub Road.
Anyone who wants to get involved with the cause can call the district at 419-625-0484.
