Mareion Ross, 18, 500 block E. Adams St.; boy, 13, 1300 block W. Madison St.; and boy, 17, Akron, were all charged with criminal trespassing and resisting arrest.

A resident in the 500 block of E. Washington St. spotted the group looking in the front window of a nearby home at about 1 p.m. Sunday, according to a Sandusky police report. When officers arrived, they found the trio in the home’s front yard, prompting all three teens to bolt.

One boy was located the next street over, while another was found a short while later at Reese and Warren streets. Ross was found hiding in a Warren Street bush, then ran from officers a second time after being ordered out at gunpoint, the report said.

When Ross was finally detained at Jefferson and Perry streets, he said the home in question was his sister’s. She later told police Ross has stolen from her in the past, knew she wasn’t home and was not welcome at her residence, the report said.

The boys were taken to the Erie County Detention Home, while Ross was handed over to Erie County deputies on an outstanding warrant.
