A boy was jumped by two teenagers on his walk home Monday night, according to a Sandusky police report.
It was about 8 p.m. when the 13-year-old boy was confronted by two teens at the corner of Remington Avenue and Cleveland Road. The teens told the boy to give up his money, then began patting him down, the report said.
One of the assailants grabbed an Xbox game from the boy’s coat pocket, then the pair took off running.
When the boy made it home and told his mother, she decided to drive him back to address to investigate.
There, they spotted two males matching the boy’s description run into an apartment, then run back out, the report said.
A nearby apartment resident later told police two boys ran up her stairs and said they were being chased over a “tape”
Officers searched the woman’s apartment and surrounding areas but were unable to locate the pair.
