Gary Windau, 54, of Maple Avenue in Castalia, was cited with failure to yield from a stop sign.

A Honda CRV was stopped on Columbus Avenue at about 7:30 a.m. when the plow travelled through the Bell Avenue stop sign and struck it while turning south, said Lt. Anthony DeChoudens of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The plow sustained minor damage, and the Honda sustained moderate damage on its right side, DeChoudens said.

An occupant of the Honda was later taken to Firelands Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries.
