Purse-shaped cakes wanted

Volunteers are searching for bakers to create unique, purse-shaped cakes for the auction, which will be judged by attendees and sold to the highest bidder during a live auction.

The Miriam House is a transitional housing program for homeless women and their children in Norwalk.

If interested call 419-668-3073, extension 107, or email rsandles@toledodiocese.org by March 15.

Specify the cake flavor, filling and name details. The event will be held March 29 at St. Mary’s Reynolds Hall on State Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tickets are $15.
