Job training funds available for those in need

The funding pays the cost of training or education to prepare an individual for employment in occupations in demand in Huron County, such as people seeking to obtain their CDL, welding certification, state tested nursing assistant and more.

Training and education dollars are available, but not necessarily limited to, customer service, skilled trades, motor vehicle operators, manufacturing, waste treatment plant operations, health services, information technology and assemblers.

Individuals currently unemployed or underemployed may be eligible.
