Travis Henry, 24, 400 block Short St., was arrested last week on the warrant from October, issued when he allegedly punched a Fremont home owner in the face while looking for another man, according to a Fremont police report.

Fremont police arrested Henry Dec. 11 for the pending burglary charge after he turned himself into the Port Clinton Police Department. On Oct. 21, he allegedly went to a home in the 1100 block of Stilwell Ave., in Fremont, looking for the victim’s son.

The homeowner had the storm door slightly open and told Henry his son was not home, then he tried to shut the door. But Henry allegedly punched him in the face, knocking him backward into the house.

Then Henry entered the house and punched the victim several more times before running away, according to a police report.

The victim suffered a broken nose, and a warrant was issued for Henry’s arrest. Henry is held without bond on a probation violation and on a $10,000 bond for the burglary charge.
