Officers responded to Firelands Regional Medical Center Sunday at about 7 a.m. to speak to a woman whose face was cut and swelling, the report said.

The woman was shocked to learn no one had called police after she and two friends had been injured about two hours earlier at the Cleveland Road bar, the report said.

The woman said she was talking to a man at the bar when, out of nowhere, the man and a friend attacked her, the report said.

Another woman told police she was also attacked by an unidentified woman who hit her in the head with a beer bottle.

The victim said the attacker’s boyfriend aimed a gun at her. She needed several stitches to seal her injuries, and she did not want to press charges — she said she’d “handle it herself,” the report said.

A third woman told police four Lorain women had assaulted her.

That victim refused to file a police report or give her name, the report said.

Only the first woman was interested in pursuing criminal charges. Officers were unable to find anyone in their records who matched the suspect’s names, the report said.
