The vote means the school’s 0.27-mill levy will go up to 0.5 mills. The replacement levy is expected to generate $1.5 million a year for EHOVE Career Center.
“We’re thrilled that the voters recognize the hard work EHOVE Career Center does every day for high school and adult students,” superintendent Sharon Mastroianni said.
The school has enjoyed a history of strong support, she said.
“We have been very, very fortunate to have positive reports from our community about the work that we do,” she said. “It’snot just from the voters, but also our local business partners endorse the work.
“We believe we’re an important part of the local economy. So I think voters and business partners see the direct impact of the work that we do,” she said.
