50 years ago, 1963: The Soviet Union announced it launched a space ship into orbit which could maneuver in all directions, changing its orbit. The apparatus was called "Polyot One." Polyot means flight.
25 years ago, 1988: President Ronald Reagan made history in more ways than one when he visited the Cleveland Browns at practice in Berea. The president complete passes to tight end Ozzie Newsome while owner Art Modell stood on his right flank.
10 years ago, 2003: LeBron James more than lived up to his hype in the first regular-season game of his NBA career, playing like no other 18-year-old ever had in his professional debut as the Cleveland Cavaliers lost 106-92 to the Sacramento Kings.
