50 years ago, 1963: Teenage "peeping Toms" were annoying trailer homeowners at Boyers Trailer Court, at the corner of Columbus Avenue and Strub Road. The group of boys pried open a window to peek into the showers.
25 years ago, 1988: Elder Eugene Sanders, senior assistant pastor of Emmanuel Temple Pentecostal Church, was the new president of the Ohio District Council Young People's Union of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World.
10 years ago, 2003: After the Aug. 14 blackout, President Bush called Cuyahoga County a national disaster area. The status was expanded to include 11 Ohio counties including Erie. All counties would receive a 75 percent reimbursement on blackout expenses from FEMA.
