50 years ago, 1963: Sandusky Motor Sales had the new 1964 Ford models out -the Galaxie 500 four door hardtop and the station wagon. Five engine and four transmission options were offered including Cruise-O-Matic three speed automatic transmission.
25 years ago, 1988: The Nuclear Regulatory Commission admonished the Toledo Edison Co., for allowing the manager of the Davis-Besse nuclear power plant to report to work after drinking alcoholic beverages.
10 years ago, 2003: Seven people who signed up for "Surviving Nugent," a two-hour VH1 reality program, were shot with paint balls, slept in a barn, constructed their own outhouse and skinned a Russian boar. The last one standing would win a new truck and $25,000.
