50 years ago, 1963: "My Favorite Martian" was set to premier on CBS for the fall season. Called a gay experiment in comedy, it was pure simple fantasy about an English speaking scientist from Mars with retractable antennae in his skull.
25 years ago, 1988: Sandusky city officials were pressing Norwalk & Western Railroad to obey state law and not block tracks on Monroe Street and Venice Road for more than five minutes.
10 years ago, 2003: With a $130 million development project positioned for the waterfront, Sandusky wanted to make sure tourist could see it. A committee was working toward having trolleys in downtown Sandusky by the summer of 2004. The trolleys could take tourist to and from downtown museums and restaurants.
