• A local food and clothing bank would like help with writing thank you notes, answering phones and doing inventory.

• Volunteers are needed for a Bass fishing event sponsored by the city to register participants and weigh in fish on Sept. 12 -13.

• Drivers are needed to deliver food to the homebound and will receive a gas stipend or may drive agency vehicles.

• Gently used children’s paperback books and small toys are needed for an agency that works with children.

• Volunteers are needed to help with a new fun sporting event on Sept. 14. Volunteers will receive t-shirts, admittance to a post party and free Ghostly Manor passes.

• Individuals are needed to help put a new roof on a home for a family in Milan on Sept. 14. Coffee, donuts and lunch will be provided. No experience necessary.

• An Oktoberfest event at a local plant nursery Sept. 27-29 needs volunteers to help with the fun. Big screen football is involved.

• Volunteers are needed to help hand out vegetables at the next Farmers Market on Oct. 3.

• A local agency needs volunteers to help in their second hand shop.
