NASA funds Plum Brook's B-3

50 years ago, 1963: Contracts totaling $285,473 were awarded by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for two projects at the Plum Brook Station south of Sandusky. The contracts were for the building of the B-3 facility.
25 years ago, 1988: Kristen McMaster, first grader of Clyde, competed in the World Twirling Association's Ohio State Competition in Napoleon. She performed in five events and was awarded the Ohio State Novice Championship for 6 and 7 year-olds.
10 years ago, 2003: Erie County officials cut the ribbon on the new Juvenile Justice Center in Sandusky. County commissioners and Juvenile Judge Robert DeLamatre dedicated the new 40,000-square-foot facility and opened its doors to the public for tours.
