Ohio BCI to take local theft case

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine’s spokesman, Dan Tierney, said Tuesday the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation has taken over a Marblehead case involving the possible theft of $200,000 from an elderly woman.

Ottawa County prosecutor Mark Mulligan wrote to DeWine's office in recent weeks, asking BCI employees to help sort through a stack of ledgers and financial documents related to the case.
