School board closed-door meeting today

Jessica Cuffman • Mar 19, 2013 at 11:54 AM

So far, the fight to fire Fred Fox has cost more than $130,000 directly out-of-pocket for taxpayers in the Huron school district.

After Tuesday's school board meeting, taxpayers may — or may not — know how much more it's going to cost them.

A school board meeting today is a closed, executive session to discuss a referee's report that recommends Fox be re-instated and the allegations made in a lawyer's report were wrong or not sustainable to justify the firing.

The board is expected to vote whether to reinstate Fox or let the termination stand during the open-door, public meeting on Tuesday.
