The workshop is aimed at landowners who want to know how to create, restore or manage wetlands on their properties, and people who want to know more about area wetlands.
It will include a variety of speakers, display booths and refreshments. The program is presented through a partnership of the Erie Soil and Water Conservation District, Old Woman Creek NERR, Natural Resources Conservation Service, ODNR — Division of Wildlife, Friends of Old Woman Creek, Erie MetroParks, Ottawa Soil and Water Conservation District, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge.
Due to limited space, participation is limited to the first 100 registrants. Children (ages 4-8 years) of adult registrants are also invited to participate in a separate program of children's activities throughout the day. (Space for the children's program is also limited.)
