Gregory Leigh Sr., 43, was charged with two additional counts of breaking and entering.
He now faces a total of four felony charges.
Although Leigh didn't admit to a third Norwalk church burglary police still suspect he was involved.
In the last two months 23 churches spread throughout Huron, Sandusky, Erie and Ottawa counties have been burglarized and thousands of dollars stolen from their coffers.
Police arrested Leigh Wednesday at the Relax Inn on West Main Street in Bellevue after Erie County deputies linked two gift card serial numbers stolen from a Milan church to those found in his pocket during a related arrest on Nov. 9.
Leigh was held at the Erie County jail on $200,000 bond late Friday.
