US Route 250
US 250, at its bridge over the Vermilion River (between TR-448 and CR-500) in Ruggles Township, is reduced to one lane of two-way traffic as part of a bridge replacement project. Traffic will be maintained at all times with a temporary traffic signal. The project is expected to be complete in early December, 2012.
US Route 250
US 250, between County Road 1575 and Township Road 653 in Montgomery Township, is reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction. Traffic will be maintained at all times in each direction with narrowed lane widths. Access to businesses will also be maintained; however, motorists should be prepared for delays throughout construction of this project. The work is expected to be complete in mid-December, 2012.
State Route 13
SR-13, at both the north and south approaches of its intersection with US Route 224 in Greenwich Township, is closed as part of a bridge replacement and intersection improvement project. The detour route for southbound motorists is SR-13 to US Route 250, south east on US 250 to US 224, west on US 224 to State Route 61, south on SR-61 to State Route 603, south east on SR-603 to SR-13, and reverse. The road is expected to reopen in
I-90, at its twin bridge structures over the Black River and Ford Road, is reduced to two narrowed 11’ lane widths of traffic in each direction for bridge deck replacements. The restrictions will remain in place through November 2013.
I-90, at its Nagel Road overpass (between State Route 83 and Crocker Road), has narrowed lane widths for work as part of the new interchange construction project. Two lanes of traffic will be maintained at all times during the daytime hours. The project is expected to be complete in September 2013.
· Nagel Road, over Interstate 90 (between Chester Road and Avon Road), is closed as part of the new interchange construction project. Detour is posted.
I-76 eastbound, from just west of State Route 94 to the Summit County line, is reduced to one lane of traffic for a reconstruction project. Motorists are advised to use caution in this area and watch for slower moving traffic as it merges in to the open (left, passing) lane. The project will be complete in September 2013.
SR-94 Ramp to I-76 East - ***UPDATE***
The entrance ramp to I-76 eastbound from State Route 94 is closed until the end of November, 2012. There are two detours for this area: Cars/Light Trucks – SR-94 to State Route 261, east on SR-261 to I-76 east; and Commercial Vehicles/Heavy Trucks – SR-94 to I-76 west, I-76 west to SR-57 south, to I-76 east.
I-76 East to SR-94 - ***UPDATE***
The exit ramp from I-76 eastbound to State Route 94 is closed. The detour route is to continue east on I-76 to State Route 261, east on SR-261 to I-76, west on I-76 to SR-94. The ramp is expected to reopen by November 12, 2012.
US Route 224
US 224, at its overlap with Rivers Corners Road (between State Route 301 and US Route 42), is closed as part of a CSX railroad bridge replacement project. The detour route for westbound motorists is US 224 to US 42, south on US 42 to State Route 89, north on SR-89 to State Route 58, north on SR-58 to US 224, and reverse for eastbound motorists. The road is expected to reopen in December, 2012.
Interstate 71 (Morrow County)
I-71 southbound, from just south of the Morrow/Richland County line to State Route 95 (between mile markers 158 and 150), is reduced to two narrowed lanes of traffic for the reconstruction and widening project. Two lanes will be maintained at all times in the southbound direction. The project is expected to be complete October 2013.
