At about 12:45 p.m., the company's stock value hit an all-time high when units peaked at $36.48, said Stacy Frole, Cedar Fair's director of investor relations.
“We appreciate the confidence our investors continue to show in Cedar Fair, as our employees have worked hard to deliver solid operating results this year," CEO and president Matt Ouimet said in an email to the Register. "Going forward, we remain confident in our ability to execute on our long-term strategic plan developed by our management team and board earlier this year."
At the close of the business day Wednesday, a single Cedar Fair unit was at $35.80, which is also a record for a Cedar Fair unit closing price.
The previous record was $36.01, set March 10, 2004, Frole said.
